ABOUT CAROPSIS ATELIER
Breathing Life Back into Automotive Legends.
Caropsis Automotive Atelier is a classic car restoration and coachbuilding workshop in Paiania, Attica, near Athens. The workshop has been working on cars since 1993 and is led by Vasilis Kasiotis, a mechanical engineer with training in car design, coachbuilding and refinishing from seminars in Greece and abroad.
Our Approach. Body panels are shaped by hand in our own workshop, from flat steel or aluminum sheet, on the English wheel and over wooden bucks. Every project starts with a written plan and goes from complete disassembly and bare metal to a concours level paint finish, with the client informed at every stage.
Teach and Consult. Vasilis designs metal parts for classic and race cars with a European metalworking machinery manufacturer, is Head Trainer at the DeBeer Academy & Experience Center in Paiania, and consults for leading companies in the collision repair industry.
